Giunto alla diciottesima edizione il “Gran Premio del Sagrantino” è una vera e propria competizione professionale tra 18 sommelier provenienti da tutta Italia che si svolge A Montefalco.
The top three, selected from participants across Italy, will compete for the scholarships established by the Consortium to enhance the technical knowledge of the wines produced in the Montefalco area.
A unique opportunity to admire professional sommeliers in action, with tastings, pairings, wine lists, and everything related to the proper communication of Sagrantino within a restaurant.

A vincere l’edizione 2026 del Gran Premio del Sagrantino è stato Andrea Peruzzi (AIS Romagna).
Il secondo e il terzo posto sono stati conquistati rispettivamente da Marco Curzi e Bruno Chiappani.
The winner of the 2024 edition of the Gran Premio del Sagrantino was Daniel Tamburri, sommelier from the AIS Isernia delegation.
In second place was Marco Curzi (AIS Rimini delegation), and third place went to Andrea Peruzzi (AIS Cesena delegation). The winner was determined by a jury composed of the national head of the AIS Competitions Area, Maurizio Zanolla, Cristiano Cini representing AIS Italia, journalist Francesca Granelli, and Isacco Giuliani, winner of the 2022 edition of the Gran Premio.
