Arnaldo Caprai is the acknowledged leader in the production of top quality Sagrantino di Montefalco, a wine produced exclusively from grapes of Sagrantino, the variety that has been growing in the region of Montefalco for more than four hundred years.

The property covers approximately 150 acres, of which 136 hectares are currently
are managed.
The vineyards are located in the area of Montefalco, Gualdo Cattaneo

Bevagna, in which both the Montefalco DOC Colli Grechetto Martan and

Sagrantino di Montefalco can be generated. The vines thrive in the continental climate with hot summers and cold winters, preferably dry with occasional snow.

The white grapes are the dominant Grechetto, Chardonnay, Trebbiano and Sauvignon Spoletino while Sagrantino is the main red grape, along with Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
