TENUTE LUNELLI – CASTELBUONO

The Castelbuono Estate, 30 hectares of hills embroidered with vineyards in Umbria, between Bevagna and Montefalco, is the result of the Lunelli family's love for Sagrantino and its land, a friendship between the Lunelli family and Arnaldo Pomodoro realizes a dream: a sculpture in which to live, work, and create great wines.
Tenuta Castelbuono was founded in 2001, but its roots lie in a century of history. It was in fact 1902, when the first bottles of Ferrari were produced, revealing the great vocation of Trentino for the production of Metodo Classico bubbles, which Giulio Ferrari had first intuited.

Starting in 1952, the history of Ferrari became a family history, first with Bruno Lunelli, then with his children, now with his grandchildren. Since the 80’s, the Lunelli family has wanted to add other products to Ferrari that share its core values, the highest quality, refinement, and strong ties with its territory, to form what is today a group of drinking excellence, with estates in Trentino, Tuscany, and Umbria.

Since the 80’s, the Lunelli family has wanted to add other products to Ferrari, that share its core values, very high quality, sophistication, and strong ties with its territory, to form what is today a group of drinking excellence. The Lunelli group therefore sees alongside Ferrari a light and exclusive water such as Surgiva, a historic grappa brand, Segnana, the wines produced by Trentino Lunelli, the wines of Tuscany produced in Tenuta Podernovo, the Umbrian wines of Tenuta Castelbuono, and Locanda Margon, a place of excellence and experimentation for innovative combinations with sparkling wines.
